The trials and tribulations we’ve been through

Nevertheless, the things I did for you
There is still no love!

The children

We don’t act like we’re supposed to be a family

We can’t be beat
Alright,
But does the name “Legette”
Keep us together?
Where’s the love?
The betrays
The lies
The tryna kills
And the steals
Some have passed
Most have lived
But where I come from
We’re more than friends
Family fighting family,
I got my uncles fighting my aunts
Over what?
POWER!
I got us fighting them
Over what?
RESPECT!
But, because we fight
Does not mean we’re not blessed
Our Love
Where is the rest?
It’s funny
My friends are my family
And my family are my friends
We don’t stick together
In a way that we can
You’re looking at me
But do you hear what I’m saying!
Where is the love?
I’ve been through much
Young and all
When my family breaks down,
who do I call
We get upset
Because we don’t know what each other is going through
In this conclusion,
Just let me tell you
Until we can care, help, fight for, and love
Look next to your neighbor and give them some love
